Bloody Mary Tomatoes

General: Serves 10.

Ingredients:

250g cherry tomatoes, each cut with a small cross

100ml vodka

15ml Worcestershire sauce

20 drops Tobasco sauce

1/3cup coarse sea salt

one grind of black pepper

grated zest of a lemon

5ml chopped fresh rosemary

5ml freshly chopped garlic.


Method:

Toss the tomatoes in the rest of the ingredients.

Allow to marinate for up to 12 hours in the fridge. Serve with the Herb-and-salt dipping.

Herb-and-salt dipping:

Stir together 1/3cup coarse sea salt, one grind of black pepper, the grated zest of a lemon, 5ml chopped fresh rosemary and 5ml freshly chopped garlic.
